- 1 lb. lean ground beef or ground turkey breast meat
- 1/2 onion chopped finely
- 1 clove garlic crushed
- 3 leaves fresh sweet basil
- 1 vine ripened tomato
- 1/2 cup raw almonds
- pinch of sea salt
I used the Magic Bullet in this recipe. I added the tomato, sea salt, garlic, onion, and basil to the cup and used the blender blade and blended til liquid and all vegetables were chopped well.
In a clean cup for the Bullet, I added the almonds and chopped them til they looked like crushed cracker crumbs.
Mix all ingredients with the meat until well mixed and form meatballs. In a heated skillet, add 1 Tbsp olive oil til hot then add meatballs. Turn meatballs every 2-3 minutes til cooked through.
Serve with Caprese Salad
