Anyone else see all the blog posts and Tweets about the blog conferences and WISH you could go? The
cost investment seems pretty steep for most homeschool parents, so how can we learn what the others are learning on a tight budget? Did you know that there are many blogs out there that tell you all the same stuff? Yes, I know..meeting other bloggers in person is fun, and rubbing elbows with highly successful bloggers and their advertisers is enticing, but why are we blogging in the first place? If we're blogging ONLY for money then we hinder ourselves from really connecting with our readers friends. Blogging for a career is not the same as sharing our lives with others. Your blog could become a high traffic money maker or you could have a blog that is relational. If your heart is to have a blog that is relational, it WILL become successful. Be yourself.
Next week begins the Heart of the Matter Online Homeschool Conference and they already began the 'Not' Back to School Blog Hop to help get everyone jazzed up. Other homeschool moms will be setting aside some time to visit the blogosphere to help keep them encouraged along the way, so lets do something fun...time for a blog refresher. I'll be sharing some tips on sprucing up our blogs during August. So many of you have valuable information to share so lets get our blogs in gear for a great 2010-2011 homeschool year!
So please subscribe via email or RSS, you can even follow my blog through Google if you'd like so you can join the fun this month.
